A new-to-market Italian coffee bar has signed a lease at the Ford Factory Lofts along the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail.

illy Caffè, a concept from the coffee brand of the same name, has leased roughly 1,500 square feet, according to an announcement from The Shopping Center Group. It is targeting an early 2023 opening.

“illy Caffè came from a desire to offer authentic Italian coffee and the real traditional Italian bar experience around the world,” says its website. There are more than 160 illy Caffè locations in 34 countries.

In Atlanta, the coffee shop will offer a curated menu of coffee and espresso beverages, hand-crafted cocktails, fresh baked Italian-inspired pastries, gelato, and a breakfast menu inspired by European-style cafés, according to the announcement.

“We believe illy Caffè’s high quality products and skilled service will round out the restaurant offerings in the project with a highly desirable location on the BeltLine,” Brett Fuller, senior vice president and associate broker with The Shopping Center Group, said in a press release.

“The new breakfast concept complements Rina’s Kitchen, Lady Ha, and the always popular Chin-Chin,” Fuller added. “We are confident that this tenant mix will appeal to the vibrant Beltline Eastside Trail community and those living close-by in the Virginia-Highland, Midtown, Inman Park, Poncey-Highland and Candler Park neighborhoods.”
